Pengembangan Modul Matematika Dasar Berbasis Case Study pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA: Analisis Validitas

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul matematika dasar berbasis studi kasus bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA serta menganalisis validitasnya dalam mendukung kemampuan penalaran matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang diadaptasi dari model Borg dan Gall, yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan produk, pengembangan modul, validasi ahli, dan uji coba terbatas. Modul yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan kasus-kasus kontekstual yang berkaitan dengan bidang sains ke dalam pembelajaran matematika dasar untuk mendorong kemampuan analisis dan penalaran mahasiswa.
Proses validasi melibatkan tiga validator, yaitu seorang ahli media, seorang ahli materi/konsep, dan seorang praktisi pembelajaran. Validator terdiri atas dua dosen matematika yang berperan sebagai ahli media dan ahli materi/konsep, serta satu dosen Pendidikan IPA yang berperan sebagai ahli materi/konsep dan praktisi pembelajaran. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi dan angket respons mahasiswa. Validitas isi dianalisis menggunakan indeks Aiken’s V.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi, dengan nilai Aiken’s V berkisar antara 0,87 hingga 0,92 pada seluruh aspek yang dinilai. Revisi yang disarankan oleh para validator meliputi perbaikan tampilan visual, penyempurnaan ilustrasi kontekstual, serta penambahan representasi visual pada beberapa aktivitas studi kasus untuk memperkuat pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul matematika dasar berbasis studi kasus yang dikembangkan valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika dasar.
