Persepsi Siswa terhadap Efektivitas Pembelajaran Microlearning Berbasis TikTok pada Materi Matematika Dasar

This study aims to explore students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of microlearning-based learning using TikTok in mathematics education. The research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, involving eight eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 1 Turikale as participants. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Colaizzi’s thematic analysis method. The findings reveal that students perceive TikTok as an engaging, accessible, and compatible learning medium with their learning style. The visual elements in the videos were considered helpful, although limited video duration and the need for teacher guidance in curating content emerged as key concerns. These results suggest that TikTok has the potential to serve as a supportive digital learning tool, particularly for Generation Z.
