About the Journal

Karst: Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika dan Terapannya is a scientific journal published twice a year, in June and December. This journal publishes research articles, conceptual papers, and development studies in the fields of Physics Education, Physics, and Applied Physics related to educational processes. Submissions are welcomed from researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, and students who are interested in advancing physics education and its educational applications in various contexts. Each manuscript submitted to this journal undergoes a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and originality.

The scope of this journal includes (but is not limited to): teaching strategies and learning models in physics education; instructional media, teaching aids, and experimental activities for physics learning; assessment and evaluation in physics education; integration of digital technology, simulations, and computational physics in teaching and learning; as well as studies in applied physics that have the potential to be used in education, laboratories, or science-based instructional development.

Karst Journal has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia under Decree Number: 79/E/KPT/2023, and is currently classified as SINTA 4 (Accreditation Level 4). This accreditation is valid until the year 2026, based on the official decision issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology.
