Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

Authors may use AI tools to support manuscript preparation, including language improvement, grammar correction, organization of ideas, and other supportive tasks. However, the following requirements apply:

  1. Authors must ensure that the manuscript represents genuine scholarly work and intellectual contributions attributable to the listed authors.
  2. The use of generative AI to produce or substantially revise manuscript content must be disclosed transparently.
  3. Authors must verify the accuracy of all AI-generated information, interpretations, quotations, citations, and references before submission.
  4. AI tools must not be used to fabricate or falsify data, research findings, citations, images, or other scholarly evidence.
  5. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors. Authorship is reserved for individuals who can take responsibility for the work.
  6. Authors remain fully accountable for all content submitted to and published by EMIK Journal, including content generated or modified with AI assistance.
  7. When AI tools are used in research design, data collection, data analysis, or interpretation, their use must be described appropriately in the methodology section to support transparency and reproducibility.
  8. Basic spelling, grammar, and punctuation checks do not require a separate declaration, provided that they do not involve substantive content generation or revision.
