Th earning in IPAS at the elementary school level requires the provision of concrete and contextual learning experiences, including the integration of local culture as a learning resource. However, the partner school does not yet have adequate visual media to support students’ understanding of South Sulawesi culture. This Community Service (PKM) program aims to develop and implement the Culture Board Media as a visual learning tool to improve cultural literacy among fourth-grade students. The implementation used an implementative approach based on experiential learning with a pre–post evaluation design, involving 28 students, a classroom teacher, accompanying students, and supervising lecturers. The activities were carried out through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages using observation sheets, student worksheets (LKPD), oral tests, and attitude scales. The results show clear improvements in students’ ability to identify cultural elements, understand cultural meanings, and engage actively while demonstrating higher appreciation for local culture. Teachers and students responded positively, stating that the media made learning more engaging, concrete, and easier to understand. Overall, the culture board media proved effective in enhancing students’ cultural literacy and can be adopted as an alternative learning resource based on local wisdom. These findings highlight the importance of incorporating cultural contexts in IPAS learning to enrich students’ learning experiences and support the preservation of local cultural heritage.
