Abstract

This activity aims to enhance students' understanding and anti-bullying attitudes within the school environment as an effort to foster a humanistic school culture. The partner institution for this activity is SMP Telkom Makassar, which faces challenges in the form of persistent bullying behaviors, both verbal and non-verbal, among students. The activity was conducted on October 16, 2025, using a participatory-educative approach that actively involves students through discussions, role-playing simulations, and value reflection. The methods applied included interactive counseling designed to cultivate moral awareness, empathy, and mutual respect among students. The results of the activity showed an increase in students’ understanding of the concept and impact of bullying, followed by changes in attitudes toward more empathetic and inclusive behavior. Additionally, a shared commitment emerged among students to create a safe, harmonious, and respectful learning environment. In conclusion, this program effectively fosters empathy, social responsibility, and the reinforcement of humanistic values within the school environment. This activity is expected to serve as a model for the implementation of character education based on humanistic values that can be sustainably applied at the junior high school level.
