ABSTRACT
The difficulty of reshaping critical land that continues to grow and become central to rehabilitation. The acceleration of rehabilitation is largely determined by the participation of the community around the watershed area. The purpose of this study is to examine the model of the influence of community participation in the management of critical land. This research was conducted in the Limboto watershed, Gorontalo Regency, which is a critical watershed and was included in priority handling. The study was a survey design, on 56 respondents. In forming the model, the result data were analyzed through Path Analysis, using SPSS 21. The results showed that: (a) test of model I, X1 (0.026), X2 (0,000) had a significant effect on Y; (b) test models II, X1 (0.015), X2 (0.006), Y (0,000) have an effect on Z. Both regression models also show an indirect significant effect both on variables X1 through Y on Z (0.366), and X2 through Y with respect to Z (0.517). This indicates that internal and external factors influence community participation and indirectly does have an impact on critical land management.
