Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in the Uma Khalifa area, Romang Lompoa Village, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. Uma Khalifa has great potential as an educational agrotourism area, but public awareness regarding the economic, social, and ecological value of agrotourism is still low. This service aims to increase community knowledge, awareness, and participation in sustainable agrotourism development through extension activities, training, demonstrations of organic farming practices, and community management mentoring. Implementation methods included lectures, interactive discussions, field observations, organic fertilizer production practices, and community-based agrotourism planning workshops. The results of the activity showed an increase in participant knowledge, increased motivation for green entrepreneurship, and the formation of a working group (Pokja) for the development of Uma Khalifa agrotourism. This program succeeded in strengthening collaboration between the community, Uma Khalifa managers, universities, and the village government in building a sustainable agrotourism ecosystem based on local community empowerment.
