Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of the Pair Check and The Power Of Two (TPOT) cooperative learning models on student learning outcomes in cell material for class XI SMAN 21 Gowa. This study uses a quasi-experimental research type with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study amounted to 40 students consisting of two classes, namely class XI MIPA 2 consisting of 20 students as experimental class 1 and XI MIPA 3 consisting of 20 students as experimental class 2. The instrument used was a learning outcome test. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the research results obtained, the learning outcomes scores of students in classes taught using the Pair Check cooperative learning model are in the "high" category with an average of 80,25 while the average learning outcomes of students taught using the The Power Of Two (TPOT) cooperative learning model are in the "high" category with an average of 84.15. The results of the inferential analysis of data with the one sample test showed that the sign value = 0.017 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the learning outcomes of students in experimental class 1 and experimental class 2 on students in class XI MIPA SMA 21 Gowa.
